 Vistara and Air India are merging 

Vistara

Vistara is a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines 

Air India

Air India is wholly owned subsidiary of Tata

Impact -

The merged entity will be India's largest international carrier and second largest domestic carrier with total fleet of 218 aircrafts

Stakeholding:

Tata's Talace will own 74.9%

Singapore Airlines will hold 25.1%

Extra

Air India Express and AirAsia India will be also be merged with Air India by 2024
